WELCOME SPEECH
Good afternoon. Welcome to the Grand Yin International. I am Dr. Will Boyd, CEO and director of the Grand Yin and the Yinshida International Group’s Education and Technology Special Development District. I am very honored to speak to you all today about our vision as a family of businesses and as a center of commerce. After three years of attempting to return home during this unfortunate pandemic, we are finally returned and settling in, finding all of you healthy and happy, doing better than I ever could have imagined when I was back in the United States. It is a wonderful fulfillment of a dream to see all of you here, inside our beautiful home, working with one another and building each other up in love.
When we had our initial vision to build this district, back in 2015-2016, we could not guess that it would be such a vital center of culture and thought. Over the years of communicating with leaders, city planning, and the many departments of safety, traffic, and zoning, we came to see our project in a unique way. Shanghai needed a new center for business and development, and we provided a new opportunity for such a center to develop organically by developing the Yin family estate into a new platform for business, relying upon your friendships and cooperation.
Not only does the Yinshida International Development District provide a calm and well-designed environment for work and play, but it has already become an ecosystem of networking, cooperations, incubation, research, development, technology, and international marketing. Through all of this growth and communication, we see the Grand Yin as more than a business project, establishing a place of order, creativity, balance and innovation. All things that we desperately need in this new world of pandemic and de-globalization trends.
These descriptions of who and what we are may seem contradictory, but they are uniquely present in the combination of people we bring together here in our team, working in our own fields, mixing at events like this, and building a brighter future for ourselves professionally, for Xujing locally, for China nationally, and for the world collectively. Our development district is only as good as our people, and all of you are excellent members of our Grand Yin team.
We welcome all of our friends and family to Yinshida International and look forward to serving all of you in any way possible. We live to serve, and love to work on all the projects that you bring our way. We congratulate Flying Fish on the celebration of their fourth year in business and the establishment of their new headquarters here. We welcome the Hua Mao Currency Exchange as they set up their new service center and offices here. We congratulate the World Digital Economic Forum for making us their home and bringing so many new and wonderful friends into our district. We wish them all the best, great success, happiness, and continued creativity as they branch out into new markets and reach previously unthinkable new heights.
